Why Advertise at American Art Archives
If you're involved in illustration as an artist, collector, gallery, store, etc., then the American Art Archives site is specialized for you and targeted for the people you want to attract. AAA is a cyber-gallery and museum, dedicated to American illustration and the goal is to make it the Number One web site for this purpose.
How Does American Art Archives Promote Itself?
AAA will be running ads for the coming year in all issues of Illustration Magazine and is considering other venues. AAA will be sending out a big press release run in 2003. In addition, AAA will continue to mention AAA through our transactions on eBay.
How Big, How Often, and How Much
There are two sizes, one is 450 pixels by 90 pixels and can appear at the top of each main topic page (see example at top):
Ads run in four-week increments, beginning on a Monday and four weeks after that (unless you've opted for more than one four-week increment, of course). Your ad does not share the same spot with any other ad in any kind of rotation. It's your spot for as long as you want it.
Price for a 450x90 pixel ad on the first American Art Archives page (which currently has not advertising) is $55 per 4-week period. The same size ad on any other main topic page (let us know which) is $40 per 4-week period.
Price for a 222 x 50 pixel ad on the first American Art Archives page (which currently has not advertising) is $35 per 4-week period. The same size ad on any other main topic page (let us know which) is $25 per 4-week period.
Ads of any other size need to be discussed by contacting me (Thomas) at: thomasc@americanartarchives.com
Advertising Guidelines
We don't allow ads that pop-up, pop-under, or otherwise have a prepositional-pop. We don't allow ads that blink, twinkle, or generally annoy (not that illustration art aficionados would ever sully themselves with such gimmicks). For questions about placing an ad or if you need the ad designed for you, please contact me (Thomas) at: thomasc@americanartarchives.com.
